Last night I played the funnest game ever.
My friends Kat and Melissa and I met up at Snakes and Lattes (a board game cafe in Toronto) to play Friends trivia. That was good times even though I came in dead last. (Could this BE any more humiliating?)
The party really got started when Kat whipped out Cards Against Humanity, a game she'd been talking about for weeks. Turns out Kat is a genius because Cards Against Humanity is the best shit ever.
Here's how it works: There are black cards and white cards. Each player gets some white cards. The white cards have phrases on them. One player (the designated "Card Czar") takes a black card out of the box and reads the question or fill-in-the-blank sentence out loud. Then the other players answer the question or fill in the blank using their white cards. So you end up with stuff like this:

This is probably a good time to mention that this game rewards people for being horrible.
You get points for putting down the funniest white cards. The best part is hearing everyone else's answers, and learning that your friends are pure evil. Sometimes the combinations are just too perfect.

This game is my new favourite thing. I can't wait to play it again, with a large group of people and beers.
